Dr.Annapureddy Sai Krishna Reddy resident of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh is currently a 1st year PG student in the Dept of Anaesthesia at HAHC hospital, HIMSR. He did his MBBS from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and cleared the NEET PG exam with a score of 553 in 1st attempt and opted to pursue his post graduation in MD Anaesthesia.

At HIMSR, he presented a e- poster on Airway Management in Massive Congenital Hydrocephalus in the 59th Annual Conference of ISA Delhi State Chapter, held on 2nd- 4th October,2020. He was also a part of the organizing team for CME on World Patient Safety day conducted at HIMSR.

In addition to excelling in academics, he has also served as a health care volunteer in various public programmes like Krishna Pushkaralu. He has keen interest in sports like cricket, kabaddi, and badminton.

He is doing his thesis on “ Comparison of effects of intravenous infusion of Dexmedetomidine versus low dose Ketamine- Dexmedetomidine on spinal block, surgical stress response and discharge readiness from PACU in orthopedic patients- a prospective , randomized controlled clinical trial”. He attempts to find which group of drugs is best in reducing stress during intraoperative period & pain, shivering, opioid requirement during postoperative period in lower limb orthopedic surgeries.
