About

Professor Dr. V. S Gupta is currently heading the Department of Ophthalmology at HIMSR & HAHC Hospital since 2016. He is an alumni of the esteemed SP Medical college, Bikaner, from where he completed his under graduation (1976) and post-graduation (1980). He has an extremely rich teaching experience of more than 30 years in the field of Ophthalmology. In his distinguished career, he has served as the head of department of Ophthalmology at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi 2010-2016). During his extensive Post graduate teaching experience of more than 26 years, he has been a PG guide for more than 15 students. He is also an examiner for under graduate and post graduate examinations for various universities and has also been a DNB examiner for last 10 years. He was a member of the selection board for RP Centre (AIIMS Delhi), ESI, UPSC and N.D.M.C Medical College, Delhi. He was also a member of NDAC (2011-2017).
