Dr. Arshad Hussain earned his MD in Community Medicine from University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital (Delhi University). He is actively involved in undergraduate medical education, public health research, and field outreach activities.

He has clinical and public health experience spanning medical practice, postgraduate training, and community service. He served as a Medical Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked in both urban and rural healthcare settings. His postgraduate training provided exposure to national health programmes, disease surveillance, vaccine delivery systems, health camps, and the Family Adoption Programme.

His professional interests include non-communicable diseases, infectious disease control, adolescent health, maternal and child health, epidemiology, and healthcare-seeking behaviour. He is open to collaborations with public health professionals and researchers worldwide.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, reading, and playing basketball. During his school years, he represented his school in basketball.
