An academician and researcher and a public health expert having more than 10 years of post MD teaching & research experience and 6 years of field experience in the areas of immunization, health planning, monitoring and evaluation. Worked with WHO-NPSP, UNICEF and NHM. Holds membership of multiple professional associations like IAPSM, IPHA, Indian Association for Adolescent Health. Also an expert group member for the MIYCN eLearning program and member of MIYCN-IAPSM National Working group. Having many research publications in various indexed and peer-reviewed journals. Working on various funded (ICMR, WHO, Alive and Thrive etc) research projects as Principal Investigator and co-investigator. Also organised more than 12 workshops and attended more than 30 workshops and conferences. Also mentoring the post graduate students as guide and co-guide. Also members of various administrative committees in HIMSR and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

  • Organized Training of Refugee Interpreters (Medical Community Service Providers) working with BOSCO India- UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) A total of 30 sessions were undertaken, in a span of 10 days (from September, 2014 to November’2014), covering topics of common ailments and First-Aid. I was involved in planning and coordinating the entire training programme.
