About

A paediatrician  with vast experience in child health issues,  specially Pediatric Respirology and Intervention bronchoscopy.  After a long tenure as a clinical teacher, he retired as Director Professor from Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. He has served  as expert for the MOHFW, GOI, WHO, UNICEF.

Training modules on Rational Antibiotic use, Asthma care and TB including DRTB  developed under his leadership are widely in use in the country as well as some other nations.  He has authored several books, chapters in books and publications in peer reviewed journal.  He has been a President of the Asian as well as Indian societies for Pediatric Respiratory care.
