WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and its associated Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital, located at Guru Ravidas Marg, New Delhi – 110062, invites applications for the post of Medical Transcriptionist in the Department of Radio-Diagnosis on a contractual basis, initially for a period of one year, at a fixed consolidated salary ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s experience.

Medical Transcriptionist-02
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Educational Institute.
  • Good analytical Skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Candidate should have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
 

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Explaining procedure to the patients and preparing them for it.
  • Ensuring prevention of wrong patient, wrong site, wrong procedure.
  • Positioning of the patients according to the immobilization devices.
  • Assisting the radiologist performing the radiographic procedures.
  • Ensure use of radiographic safety practices and radiation protection techniques for the patients as well as staff.
  • Ensure wearing the TLD badge continuously and exposure within recommended limits.
  • Assist in capturing and maintenance of the quality indicators of the department.
  • Ensure TAT of reporting is maintained.
  • Continuous checking of the equipment functioning and report to the radiologist in case it needs repair.
  • Maintaining clean, safe environment in the department.
  • Rechecking of the personal details on the file of the patient before handing over.
  • Checking the quality of the radiographs according to the defined standards and protocols.
  • Storage and maintaining record of the x-ray films and other inventory in the department.
