The Department of Dentistry was established in 2012 under Dr. Nilima Sharma.
The vision of department is to provide affordable and accessible dental care to one and all with the mission of disseminating the importance of good oral hygiene and the deleterious effects of poor oral health on systemic health.
Paediatric, adult and geriatric population is treated.
The Department is well equipped with facilities required for the management of simple as well as specialized dental procedures. the department provides restorative and prosthetic rehabilitation. Endodontic treatment is also done. Oral prophylaxis and flap surgeries are undertaken.
Surgical procedures under Local Anaesthetic are carried out in the dental operatories located in the first floor of the New Hospital Block.
Each patient appointment is an interactive session of educating the patient on proper toothbrushing, maintainence of oral hygiene and the consequences of habits of tobacco and smoking on oral and general health.
Department besides clinical dentistry has actively participated in academic activities both in the college and other institutes.

Dr. Nilima Sharma( Dentistry) and Dr. Taskin Khan( Ophthalmology) were invited by Woman CAN( NGO) to conduct a health camp for the general public on the 24thth January 2016 at Sewa Bharti Madhav Seva Kendra , Trilokpuri New Delhi . The camp offered free dental and eye check up.
