I am a second-year MD postgraduate student with a strong interest in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. My research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, particularly the phenotypic and genotypic detection of aminoglycoside resistance in Enterococcus isolates. I have hands-on  experience with advanced diagnostic platforms including VITEK, BACTEC, GeneXpert, and ELISA. My academic interests also include bloodstream infections in ICU settings and molecular diagnostic approaches for pathogen detection. I am committed to evidence-based laboratory practices, stringent quality control, and translational research that enhances infection control strategies and improves patient outcomes in tertiary care settings.
