  1. Events organized by Department of Microbiology

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis (TBDay, the Department of Microbiology at HIMSR organized an engaging and innovative Reel and Poster Competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse group, including undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), MSc, and PhD students, along with nursing staff, technicians, and OT staff.
The program was graced by the esteemed presence of the respected Dean Sir, Dr. Musharaf Hussain, and Respected M.S Sir , Dr. Sandeep, whose encouragement added great value to the event. Their support highlighted the institution’s commitment to fostering awareness and proactive engagement in public health initiatives.
Poster competition was judged by Dr.Sabina , Dr. Sana rehman and Dr . Rachna Tewari.
Reel competition was judged by Dr.Sana Alam, Dr. Iqra , Dr. md Azhan.
Such initiatives play a vital role in spreading awareness and inspiring collective action. The event successfully reinforced the importance of the global “End TB” programme, encouraging everyone to contribute toward its mission.
Participants and attendees alike took a pledge to uphold the spirit of the campaign theme: “Yes, We Can End TB: Lead by Countries, Powered by People.”
Overall, the event was a meaningful step toward building awareness, fostering responsibility, and motivating individuals to actively participate in the fight against tuberculosis.
