About

I am Professor in the Department of General Surgery with extensive experience in both basic and advanced laparoscopic procedures. With a strong academic background and vast clinical experience, I have special expertise in breast diseases and surgery and also the management of ano-rectal diseases. I am well-versed in handling a wide range of surgical emergencies and routinely performs various emergency surgical procedures.
I have authored numerous academic publications and has actively contributed to the surgical community as a judge and panelist at several academic forums and conferences and have been external/ internal examiner for MBBS examinations. With a keen interest in advancing surgical techniques, I have also completed a fellowship in robotic surgery and continues to explore and promote minimally invasive and robotic surgical approaches.
