About

I strongly believe that knowledge is power and find teaching a platform to advocate for “Beneficial Knowledge”.  As an academician I lays emphasis on Evidence Based Medicine to produce competent medical practitioners. I am also actively engaged in research projects and have supervised PG students of diverse clinical specialties. I am passionate about establishing Clinical Pharmacology especially Critical Care Pharmacology as a distinct medical field. I have been at the forefront of initiating and implementing the Antimicrobial Stewardship at HAHC Hospital and every year I organize various activities during the World AMR Awareness Week, for all healthcare professionals. As a postgraduate course in-charge, I find myself privileged in promoting the paradigm shift in the MD-Pharmacology curriculum, from constrained experimental pharmacology to evolving pharmacotherapeutics translating into rational and safe drug use.
