About

Dr. Razi Ahmad is working as professor in the Department of Pharmacology, HIMSR. He Joined, Jamia Hamdard in the year-2014 as associate professor. He has twenty two years of teaching and research experience. For the past several years he is actively involved in screening of indigenous drugs for biological activities like immune-modulating activity, anti- parkinsonism, anti-inflammatory and anti-filarial activity by molecular docking (In-silico study) and in vivo models. The main focus of his research is to identify and isolate the active principles from the natural sources. He has published research papers in various reputed national and international journals of high impact factors like Molecules, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, BIOCELL, J Korean Med Sci, and Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine. He has supervised two PhD and several MD, M. Pharma & Msc thesis and
published two practical books on experimental and clinical pharmacology for MBBS and other para-medical students. He has been members of many professional bodies and reviewer of many reputed journals.
