Dr. Saloni Deshraj is a Junior Resident in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. She completed her MBBS from Smolensk State Medical University, where she demonstrated consistent academic excellence and was awarded gold medals in Pharmacology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Psychiatry. She also secured first prizes in several medical quizzes and paper presentations during her undergraduate training.

A native of Nagpur, Dr. Saloni has experience working at the grassroots level as a Medical Officer, which strengthened her clinical acumen and patient-centred approach to healthcare. During her internship at Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur, she was recognised for her efficiency and composure in high-acuity intensive care settings, an experience that inspired her to pursue Anaesthesiology as her specialty.

In addition to her academic and clinical pursuits, she has actively participated in debates and extempore activities, reflecting strong communication and leadership skills. She is also involved in community service through volunteer work with churches and orphanages. Her professional interests are complemented by a passion for travelling and exploring diverse cultures.
