Dr. Ayan Kumar Das is a dedicated medical academician and researcher with a strong interest in infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, and antimicrobial resistance. He has contributed extensively to scientific literature through original research, case reports, and collaborative multicentric studies published in national and international journals. He has over 800 Citations. His work spans areas such as COVID-19 epidemiology, tuberculosis diagnostics, drug resistance mechanisms, and novel therapeutic strategies. - Tuberculosis research: Presently working on newer TB diagnostic techniques in collaboration between Department of Microbiology and Valitude Prima (an IIT Delhi alumnus initiative.)
- Antimicrobial Resistance: Presently working on drug resistant Enterococci and salmonella typhi
- Alternate Medicine: Presently working on evaluation of effectiveness Unani formulation on Hepatitis B virus and Human papilloma virus infection.
