Independence Day Celebration at HIMSR, New Delhi

The Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR), New Delhi, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm.
The program commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, led by the Dean, HIMSR, Dr. Musharraf Husain, followed by the National Anthem and the collective singing of the National Song, “Vande Mataram,” with enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff and students.
The gathering was subsequently addressed by the Dean and the Medical Superintendent (MS), who highlighted the significance of Independence Day and emphasised the responsibilities of the medical fraternity towards the nation and society.
The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural program, featuring melodious musical performances and inspiring poetry, which added to the spirit of patriotism and unity.
The programme concluded with a note of gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, staff and students for their participation, followed by refreshments.
The celebration reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and service, reaffirming HIMSR’s commitment to contributing towards a healthier and stronger India.
