About

Dr. Taskin Khan is presently working at Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi as Professor (Ophthalmology). She did her MBBS and post-graduation in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Her area of interests is anterior segment diseases, Amblyopia and Preventive & Rehabilitative Ophthalmology. She has an extensive clinical, administrative & teaching experience expanding for more than three decades. She has guided post graduate students and has served as an examiner for post graduate and undergraduate students. She is credited with scientific papers in peer review National & International Journals.  In 2007 she was honoured with ‘Certificate of Excellent Case Management’ from Carthage Area Hospital, New York, USA. Dr Khan is also actively engaged in the organization of conferences, workshops, seminars and health camps. She is also a member of Medical Education Unit of HIMSR and is an active member of various institutional committees of HIMSR & HAHC Hospital.
